India’s leading short video app, curated locally by ShareChat, Moj ((literally translating to ‘fun’, and ‘entertainment’) caters to both short content creators and consumers. This entertainment-based social platform embodies the mindset of contemporary India and imbibes the personality and overall vibe of happiness and playfulness. The design language of Moj is expressive, energetic, vibrant and deeply rooted in ‘masti’.
Like its many international contemporaries such as TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, Moj ecosystem too revolves around viral music and dance that allows users to contribute to trends in the form of short videos. However, each creator is different than the next and has their own interests. The brief of the project was to add fun visuals to support audio category tiles, aiding the creators in choosing the genres of their liking during the process of content creation.
