From 2020 to 2022, I attended Nihon Kogakuin College Hachioji, majoring in Manga and Animation. I took the character design course and learned a lot of things about character designing in Japan. Though in the end I decided to pursue my career as a UI designer instead, my time in Nihon Kogakuin helped me a lot to understand basic art theories to support my graphic and UI design skills.

My work ranges from character designs to background illustrations. We used Clip Studio Paint most of the time, but I’m also a big fan of Adobe Photoshop as my painting tool.

As the basic drawing skills exercises, we did a lot of still-life drawings. Personally this was my favourite subject!
