WaterScan app: Your virtual water footprint

WaterScan is a mobile app that calculates the water footprint of each product that the user consumes. The objective of this application is to make people aware of the use of water and give alternatives on products that have less water footprint. Based on data available on Water Footprint Org.

To design the app, my colleague Paulina Hoyo and I went through many iterations, consulted research and data visualisation graphs at the Water Footprint Network, in order to reflect in the most visual and digestible way all that goes behind the making of every product. She took care of all the UX design, low and high-fidelity mockups and together we worked on the UI and data research. I worked on the concept for the app, logo, corporate identity/CI and the website to advertise the app.
