Case Study: Lumina Technologies Logo Redesign

Overview:

Lumina Technologies, a cutting-edge software development company, approached me for  rebranding and modernizing their visual identity. They needed a logo that represented their commitment to innovation and the limitless possibilities of technology.  my challenge was to create a logo that captured Lumina's forward-thinking spirit while also paying homage to their brand history.

Design a logo that symbolizes innovation and limitless potential.

Retain the recognizable "L" from Lumina's existing logo.

Infuse the logo with a sense of modernity and elegance.

Ensure the logo works well in both digital and print media.

Concept:

i wanted to convey the concept of infinite possibilities and innovation, which are at the core of Lumina Technologies' mission. To achieve this, i incorporated the infinity symbol (∞) seamlessly into the letter "L" of their brand name.

Design Process:

Research and Inspiration:  i began by researching technology logos and symbols associated with innovation. The infinity symbol stood out as a perfect representation of limitless potential.

Refinement: After feedback and discussions with the client, i narrowed down the options to a few strong concepts. i refined these further, paying attention to proportions, spacing, and legibility.

Color Palette: The gradient color palette transitioned from blue to energetic orange and finally to bright yellow, representing the journey from innovation to progress
