SaveQuest - Gamified savings app
Hey guys! Iβm happy to share that Iβm done with this design, my attempt at gamifying a savings app. case study would be up on my personal portfolio by the time Iβm done. The remaining screens are on dribbble.com/Dvn019/shots for context β¬οΈ Gamification is a technique commonly used to improve engagement of users by the implementation of game mechanics into a design. E.g leaderboards,Badges,challenges and rewards. These give the users a sense of accomplishment further encouraging them to use the app. β¬οΈ This aligns with my goal of improving financial discipline which is something I and other users have struggled with. implementing a solution like this into a savings application only made sense. β¬οΈ We offer users quest they can complete or they can create their own quests, completing these, offers them Experience which in turn increases their level , as you progress you get more badges and rewards. Almost done β¬οΈ We also provided Communities, allowing users with a common goal come together. After all we achieve greater things together. More details would be published on this during my case study which covers my process in consideration with business goals and aligning that with user needs.
