Logo Design 2

I designed a logo for a fictional bar called Keys Piano Bar. The images show the different ideas I imagined. I thought about the experience of enjoying a piano bar. I thought about creating the atmosphere of a piano bar with singers. Then I thought about the piano keys and what kind of designs I could come up with. I decided to use the piano keys that also looks like drinks on a bar. I experimented with different colours to see which would work best. In the end I went for the colours that shout the passion of a piano bar.

In designing a logo I think about what message the company would like to show to an audience. What is the company about? I start with sketches on paper, then create these on the computer with design tools. From here I continue to experiment and bring in typography that works. When I decide on a few black & white designs I start experimenting with colour.
