Ampersand 2015
During my amazing internship opportunity with Clearleft this past spring while traveling around the world, I worked on several projects varying between visual design (like this), user experience and front-end coding. Ampersand was the first project I worked on, and I am very stoked to see it in the wild. I had art direction from the type wizard Richard Rutter (Check out his book! http://book.webtypography.net) with the colors and font and from there had a pretty open creative license.
This project allowed me to explore more about web typography (obviously) but also animating SVGs, responsive layout techniques all while trying to maintain a cohesive identity. Hope you like it as much as I do!
Go check out the new www.ampersandconf.com for this years conference.
