Polymes Concept

This is a quick and dirty concept I created for a mobile app guy starting his new company. He created his logo and was asking for critiques on his logo on r/logodesign. Rather than rip his concept to shreds for some upvotes, I created this and then walked him through the process of how I arrived at this concept and how he should consider working with a graphic design student if he was short with funds because even a little money and some real world experience is better than another "perfect" fake company.
