Logo design for a 3D artist duo creating unique, eclectic

furniture & home decor objects for Secondlife residents.

The client envisioned an authentic, detailed logo with a strong old-world feel that represents the combination of art and science, craftsmanship and storytelling.

I created a hand-drawn design of a husband & wife craftsman holding a hammer & a chisel, surrounded by an ornamental frame inspired by medieval manuscripts.

For the type, we went with a simplified black letter style to ensure legibility.

The simple color palette was chosen to enhance the logo's classic, heritage feel.

Once the master logo was finalized, we developed it into a full logo system

with logo variations, submarks, wordmarks, and monograms to allow

James & Dew to maintain brand consistency without ever being repetitive.
