House of Western is a place to go out, get down, imbibe, play, celebrate, and enjoy. A place where Americana country got stuck in a 70’s time warp, got a little high on LSD and made nice. A place where anything feels possible and the vibe and energy feel continuous and contagious. A place where you are sure you are going to have good times.

After five years in Boise, ID under the name Western Proper, the fine folks at HoW had a lingering feeling that the concept of Western Proper has been a miss in honoring their mission of “do it the fun way”. They felt the brand, mission, menu, service and some of the experience have lacked consistency, thoroughness, and (most importantly) good energy.

So I pony-ed up with them to bring some good timing, late-night rowdy fun to their identity!
