This week I made some medical apps for diabetic patients. Let me tell you the background story and the problems

Background Story (Problems):

Mom has a diabetic type 2, and she needs to inject insulin every morning and after having a meal. As she gets older, sometimes she forgets to inject the insulin or worse to inject twice. And that is a dangerous situation, first, you can't control your blood glucose, and will affect your body for the long term. Second, you will get low blood sugar which might trigger loss the consciousness and death.

The Solutions:

Based on that story I'm thinking of making apps to make her life easier. the function of this app is as simple as a medical journal for her. She can add the blood glucose level and the insulin dose that she takes with time and date.

From that, we can pull the data of her diabetic management. and maybe another added function is to remind her to get tested / inject the insulin based on her habit.

The Exclude Features and Why?:

I'm not adding features of food and exercise. There are several reasons behind this.

Every diabetic patient has a different treatment, we can't assume that one method will work for everybody. Let's say that some people need more injections for a certain food kind and some people do not. It's much more complex. The best way to know your diabetic is from your medical journal.

Even though I don't know how to code and make this app liver, at least with my design I hope it can inspire others.
