Framed NYC's brand identity is centered around its uncompromising approach to craftsmanship and artistic expression. All of their eyewear is designed in New York City and hand-crafted in some of the world's best factories using German lens technology from Zeiss and premium bespoke acetate by industry leaders Mazzucchelli. The frames are then handmade in Belluno, Italy, known as the 'valley of glasses.' The frames themselves are designed to be original, artistic, and unique, incorporating unexpected shapes, textures, and colors. The design process is focused on creating frames that are not only functional but also a work of art that expresses the wearer's individuality.

Logo

Framed NYC's brand discovery process was driven by the brand's commitment to artistic expression and uniqueness. The brand's approach to using the best materials and processes available ensures that every frame is of the highest quality and originality.

To create a dynamic and distinctive identity, Framed NYC's logo was designed to break through the frame, drawing inspiration from comic book "panels." This unique and artistic approach to branding has helped Framed NYC stand out in a crowded marketplace.

Visual Language

Framed NYC is creative and unique and we wanted to handcraft a visual language that complemented the boldness of the brand. Bright colors and strong fonts stand out from the sparse and minimal design of the competition.

Using hand-drawn elements complements handmade eyewear. Models and ambassadors are chosen based on their uniqueness as opposed to “conventional beauty standards”
