Getting you closer to the NT experience

In collaboration with Tourism NT, I took on a leadership role in the process of revamping and promoting Northernterritory.com. This project encompassed not only refreshing the website's design but also formulating effective marketing strategies to enhance its visibility and reach. By working closely with Tourism NT, I spearheaded the efforts to bring about positive changes to Northernterritory.com.

One of the primary objectives we tackled was to restructure the user experience in a way that would engage potential travelers more effectively. Our aim was to guide users through the stages of trip planning in a streamlined and seamless manner. We recognised the need to engage users from the very beginning of their journey—when they first land on the website—and smoothly lead them towards making travel decisions, quicker and easier. To achieve this, we focused on refining the user interface and optimizing the website's navigation.

A key challenge we faced was elevating the presence of Northern Territory (NT) travel operators higher up in the customer journey funnel. We aimed to provide users with the ability to discover appealing travel deals within just three clicks after arriving on the website. This involved streamlining the browsing process and making the information about travel options, packages, and deals more accessible and engaging.

To complement these changes, we undertook a comprehensive overhaul of the website's design. This redesign was aimed at not only enhancing the visual appeal of the site, but also improving its functionality and user-friendliness.
