City of Neu-Isenburg
Neu-Isenburg is a small German town of 40,000 people south of Frankfurt, where I lived for 1 year during my apprenticeship. It was built in 1699 for French refugees and named after its founder Johann Philipp von Isenburg. It was not until 200 years later that it received its city coat of arms, which in turn is made up of 3 other coats of arms. The left half stands for the coat of arms of Hesse, the upper right half for the coat of arms of Haus Isenburg and the lower right half for the coat of arms of the dominion of Hain in the Dreiech, which came to Haus Isenburg through an inheritance.
Until today the city has no corporate design, so I created one myself. For this purpose, I transformed the city's coat of arms into a real logo and, with the modified pattern, simultaneously created the key visual for an entire brand identity.
