Tischgespräche Podcast
Introducing the new Logo for Tischgespräche (engl. Table Talks) — a German podcast by Lutheran pastors Knut Nippe and Malte Detje. The branding includes a simplified version as well as a maximalist engraving style version which shows a stylized iteration of the Luther rose framed by a table, a microphone and a banner.
The blackletter typeface points out the historic Lutheran roots. Overall, the design should emphasize the heritage of the faith while also being responsive and approachable in this digital age. The design is also strongly inspired by classic heraldry.
The animation was done by the great Jake Cannon. The fonts used includes Schmaltzy by Herzberg Design Co., Locale & Tiller both by Mattox Shuler and Brian Brubaker (available from Fort Foundry).
