Strength in Numbers

Anyone interested in buying a Battle Axe t-shirt? Trying to gauge interest as to whether or not I should pursue printing. Sign up for the mailing list (battleaxe.co) or follow the twitters (@battleaxedotco) to stay up on all that junk.

Back story: A Heptagon is a 7 sided polygon that is impossible to construct with tradional compass and ruler alone. It wasn't until someone came along and built a new set of tools that a perfect heptagon was able to be drawn. A heptagram is a star constructed by internally connecting the points of a heptagon and there are multiple varieties. I've always been fascinated by penrose triangles and impossible 3D shapes, so I drew what I'm going to call a Penrose Heptagram.

13 is the seventh number in the fibonacci sequence (a fascinating part of the golden ratio), and considered by some to be unlucky. I see 13 a lot related to my son and it's pretty special to me. He is two years old now and when you ask him his age he crosses his two chubby little sausage fingers as if for good luck.
