Architecture project - Living within a community

This project is made to attract and reconnect relationships between people, both at a community level as well as a family one. It is said that home is where the heart is, where the state of mind of one is in deep harmony with the universal silence. For us, home also means family, togetherness.

The nine friends form a small community with joint interests and mutual life ideologies, but either one of them has a particular character and competences. And so, the owner of house that takes up the front of the street, also has a small coffee shop at the ground floor.

We have chosen the inline display of the house to portrait and emphasize on the bonds inside the community. The balance between free space and built one falls into the first one's favor and the visual connection between the two becomes more complex when adding in the vegetation. So that the joint space is green, protected by the walnut, the element that naturally belongs to the place. Through this arrangement, we wanted tot emphasize on the harmony between the house and nature.

The spacial arrangement was thought and designed with the more purpose of gathering all the members of the family into the daily activies area - the living room. The transparency of the ground floor created by the glazed spaces suggests an aiming towards the exterior, towards the community. The bedrooms, on the other hand, are open to a private yard, limited by vertical gardens so that it offers privacy and intimacy.
