Autism Self-Improvement App

This project is a conceptual application targeted towards people with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) to help improve themselves and their everyday life.

You can find the full prototype of the project here!

Set Goals

Users can select from preset goals and customize them to their personal needs. These goals include building routines, improving time management skills, learning how to have better conversations with people, managing negative stimulations... and much more!

Manage Tasks

People with ASD typically require some form of structure in their lives. Orient assists them in keeping track of daily chores based around their personal goals. These tasks can contain more detailed descriptions, reminders through push notifications, checklists and images to add more visualisation.

Earn Rewards

Completing tasks rewards the user with in-app currency, experience points and adds to their daily streak. Currency can be spend to recieve banners and frames to equip on their user profile. However, certain rewards are only available to obtain after reaching a high enough level.

Connect with Others

People can talk freely with each other through chatting. However, this chat comes build in with some special features in mind!

You can send to and recieve tasks from friends. This way, you can recommend and share new ways to help others with a similar goal.

Do you want to start a conversation, but don't know what to say? The mascot character 'Mynd' can help with that by asking random questions in the chat.
