How to Draw Elements? - A Tutorial
Drawing an element has to be done precisely. To ensure we can capture the feeling and texture of the element, we have to pay attention to the details. This time, our client wants us to draw NFT design with several element -- flesh, metal, stone, and skeleton. Scroll down to see the details!
How to Draw Flesh?
Texture is really important when it comes to digital illustration. To start this process, first, you have to pick the right color palette to showcase specific part of the body. In this illustration, we pay attention to the texture of brain and muscles. Don't forget to add tiny details like freckles, wrinkles, and blemishes to make it more realistic.
How to Draw Metal?
In this illustration, we want the people to easily recognize our character's texture. We design the character as a robot to depict the metallic texture. In the coloring process, we apply intense shadows and subtle highlights, focusing on areas where light naturally hits and shadows form. Another tips from us -- put cold grey tone to showcase the shiny and clean metal texture!
How to Draw Stone?
Firstly, we make rough lines to depict the sharp features on the stone. Adding extra details to the stone -- like cracks or gravel -- can also make your drawing looks more realistic. Make sure to add extreme highlight and shadow in the coloring process to showcase the stone sharp angled.
How to Draw Skeleton?
Making a skeleton is a little bit tricky, but we have another tips and tricks for you. On making this illustration, we gathered references on ducks anatomy so we can understand about the shapes and detail of our character. Next, we can pick the right color palette to showcase the bone. Don't forget to make lines effect to emphasize the texture of fracture bones, and now you have an excellent bone texture!
The Final Artwork
