Abyssal Maw (2023)

Imagine having this creature come for your soul. I imagined it to be kind of like an interdimensional grim reaper where it comes to collect the souls of the departed.

It has a gaping mouth at the front of the main body that is a portal to the afterlife where souls are processed and recycled into new souls to be distributed later. The "legs" are all hands.

It's made of bones and rotting flesh and don't worry, it's harmless to the living. But I imagine it would be a terrifying encounter in the physical world.

This is a redesign of a creature I had drawn previously. I didn't like it so I never finished the original concept.
