Crimes of the Future | Brand Identity
Crimes of the Future is a podcast about future technologies, their potential impact on society, and the ethical dilemmas they may pose—think Black Mirror-esque reflections on a future both dazzling and frightening.
We were tasked with creating a brand identity that would blend technology and danger. It had to reflect some serious research done into potential threats, as well as spark curiosity and attract listeners.
That was how we came up with a futuristic logo, using a distortion effect to symbolize the destruction caused by these new technologies. We placed the logo inside a polygon resembling a printed circuit board. Contrasting colors were chosen to evoke senses of danger and urgency.
The circuitry patterns and fragmented images reflect the breakdown of technology as a concept and hint at the potential disruptions explored in the podcast.
