In 2023, I worked with a few of the brilliant minds at Ruca on two animated videos for Darden Restaurant Group. My role was storyboarding and creating all characters, interior scenes, and props. Product designer Sarah Thomas created all UI screens. Animation done by //kneeon.

Video 1: Management Experience

Facing a very compact turnaround time, we focused on a limited color palette and repeating elements in order to create around 15 illustrated key frames with characters for hand-off to the animation team.

Video 2: Guest Experience

The second video was geared toward the restaurant experience, including employee and guest satisfaction. We continued with the simplified figures, re-using as many elements as possible from the first video in order to maximize output with such a limited timeline.
