Tiffany Glass: Painting with Color and Light

Tiffany Glass: Painting with Color and Light

Title Wall + Section Texts + Motion Graphics

Delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Tiffany Glass: Painting with Light and Color opened at Reynolda House in October 2020. Playing on Reynolda’s formal gardens, the phrase “light is in bloom” was carried throughout our marketing material, including motion graphics of a peony unveiling a period lightbulb.

Inside the gallery, formal and symmetrical body copy acts as a foil to the organic, Art Nouveau shapes and shades along the walls. French-inspired type in brushed bronze vinyl lure the viewers in and reference the materials of the leaded glass lamps.

“Nature is always right.”

Inspired by this Louis C. Tiffany philosophy, I created a coloring page taken after a detail from a hanging shade depicting a landscape. The page was intended to be on our printed collateral, but instead became a freebie on social media.
