SELF PORTRAIT / HEADSHOT

A self portrait to provide as a professional headshot for my freelance career.

A focus on dramatic lighting, using a soft box to create upstage Rembrandt lighting on my face, and a rim / hair light to create depth and definition in my face.

I made sure the white backdrop was only partially lit, creating a dark grey background to help the highlight and shadows of my subject to pop even more.

A soft blue/purple gradient was added in post to add a splash of colour and give a nod to my freelance design business's branding colour palette.
