CITTÀ Magazine — La Ciudad de Mexico
CITTÀ is a creative magazine that parallels Montreal with other cities throughout the world on subjects such as art, architecture, design and creativity at large.
For their Montreal/Mexico edition, they gave me an incredible task: to craft a series of posters capturing Mexico City's vibrant history, at three different periods of time—during the Aztecs (Tenochtitlan), the Spanish conquistadors (Nova Mexico) and nowadays (Distrito Federal).
Third poster—and last of the bunch—spotlighting the City of Mexico. By the time I wrapped up the second print, I was feeling really comfortable with my approach and had more control over my visual experiment, which includes the 3D map of Mexico City. This third print is my favourite to this day.
