Mother Hen's Bounty

Part of my Women's Work female farmers photography exhibit in 2021. These eggs were courtesy of a fabulous farm in Anthony, NM. Fun fact: every hen is born with the exact number of eggs it will lay already predetermined. AND a rooster isn't necessary, a hen will start laying around 6 months and continue on until their egg production fizzles out (5-7 years later).
