CHALLENGE

The Voice referendum
A visual identity and logo lockup was required for dentsu for their communications surrounding support of the ‘yes’ vote in the Australian Voice referendum. They needed a design solution that would effectively represent the campaign and provide a distinctive Indigenous feel. The design had to be adaptable to various materials, including digital ads, booklet and various digital screens.
SOLUTION
The Voice + dentsu VI
With the artist’s permission, I leveraged a commissioned indigenous artwork piece to act as central focus. A cut-out of the word ‘Voice’ was strategically placed within a square-shaped speech bubble, effectively framing the artwork placed beneath. This approach allows for easy interchangeability of different images, offering flexibility to introduce new tones and visual updates as needed – resulting in a cohesive visual identity across multiple platforms leading up to ‘The Voice’ referendum.
