Insight

To make it look realistic, I researched sushi, studying its forms, textures, and colors. This allowed me to recreate each sushi piece with precision as it gave me an in-depth understanding of how sushi looked like in real life. The choice of a monochromatic palette was chosen to emphasize the visual appeal of the sushi itself, with an intention to highlight the intricate details and craftsmanship that go into its creation.

I then used 3D modeling software and rendering techniques to create the sushi. I carefully created each sushi element, paying careful attention to the specific shape and texture of ingredients like fish, rice, and seaweed. I also considered the different lightings and shadows to create a realistic and inviting ambiance.
