Itacayo: Celebrating Guatemalan Folklore

In 2020, we breathed life into Guatemalan legend through a Collaboration created by SEILI/SCBWI Guatemala.

This is the process of one of the pages, offering a glimpse of the journey behind it.

Itacayo, also known as Sisimite, is an enigmatic creature regarded as a nature spirit and guardian, distinguished by its backward-pointing feet.
