Mapsy : Integrating Map View into Car Digital Cluster

I am excited to present to you my design exploration of a car digital cluster that incorporates the map feature showcased earlier. The primary objective of this integration is to enhance the driving experience by keeping the driver's focus on the road and eliminating distractions from their phone.

In today's fast-paced world, where smartphones have become an integral part of our lives, it is crucial to find innovative ways to minimize potential distractions while driving. Recognizing this, I set out to create an intuitive solution that seamlessly integrates the map feature into the car's digital cluster.

By incorporating the map feature directly into the digital cluster, drivers can access navigation information and real-time updates without having to glance at their phones or external devices. This integration ensures that critical information, such as turn-by-turn directions, traffic updates, and estimated time of arrival, is conveniently displayed right in the driver's line of sight.

In addition to integrating the map feature, I also explored various secondary functionalities that complement the driving experience. These include displaying vehicle speed, fuel level, engine status, and other essential information within the digital cluster. By consolidating these features, drivers can have a comprehensive view of their vehicle's status and navigation information in one centralized location. This design ensures a safer and more efficient driving experience.
