🥘 Samaq is a Persian restaurant specializing in traditional cuisine. In creating its visual identity, we endeavored to bring the audience closer to the essence of the business in a creative and slightly humorous manner. We achieved this using color, typography, patterns, imagery, copywriting, and other branding elements.

🥸 When selecting appropriate typography, we aimed to blend classic taste while incorporating a modern touch, creating a space that evokes the traditional Iranian culture for the audience. The font designer describes it in a way that "If it were a personality, it's somewhere in its middle age, having passed through the immaturity of youth, perhaps around fifty. If it were a car, it would be a Mercedes-Benz. If it were music, it would resonate with Iranian instruments.
