Under The Volcano - Corporate Identity Re-brand

OBJECTIVE

To re-brand a restaurant location with a new identity that generates ‘positive and favorable awareness’ in the marketplace such that ‘sales’ are generated. Develop the application of the corporate identity along with other promotional material. i.e. food truck, menu board.

PROCESS

Instead of a typical Mexican restaurant look, I went with a modern traditional/authentic approach. I used a Mayan figure for the logo, I also incorporated a volcano into the logo to keep with the branding of the restaurant.

For the printed applications I used a watermark of the logo graphic to help

tie the printed materials together. I chose to utilize the unique look of the logo to add more impact to the design as it will generate more of an impact/approach. I used a simple red, black, and white colour scheme as it adds a high level of contrast and a makes a bold statement. Again, the colours tie in with the theme of the restaurant.
