A screenshot of the landing page we took before the redesign attempt. The most important thing about a landing page is the hero section. This is important because it sets the tone for what users need to expect, what problems the product solves, and how they can get the job done.
So the best way to hit the ball rolling, is to create a strong value-based headline that (a) evokes the right emotion (b) confirms/informs their problem (c) tells users who you are i.e 'Welcome to Byteso' sounds too generic and 'Food Distribution for Sustainable Future' sells the product like a right fit for supply chains who are conscious about sustainability.
Also, a CTA is important to guide the user into taking action after confirming if the product is a fit, and with the right social proof, this creates more buffer for them to see how they can get the job done also.
