Japan WC was founded after a trip undertaken two years ago. Passionate about Japanese culture, I decided to visit Japan in order to explore its history, architecture, art and gastronomy. Upon my return, filled with the unforgettable memories of this stay, I could not get rid of a specific experience, an intimate encounter: the unique relationship to the body and to cleanliness of the Japanese people.

The savoir-vivre in terms of hygiene and cleanliness, the know-how developed to achieve it in the 21st century have truly seduced me. The traditional Japanese baths and saunas, but also the technology used to guarantee the cleanliness and comfort of their toilets have marked me. Sensitive to environmental issues, the low ecological footprint of Japanese toilets finished convincing me. Gone was the anti-ecological toilet paper. It was a true revelation !
