Bolt Weather - Mobile

A couple mobile shots of my open source weather app. Had a lot of fun designing and building this one.

I felt that while there are many beautiful mobile weather apps, most of the desktop website variants are overly complex and difficult to understand. I wanted something that looked great on desktop, but also scaled down elegantly to look like a native-first mobile app.

My goal was to design a minimal layout where you can intuit all of the key weather information without needing to navigate to many different areas. I prioritised the data that typically affects your day-to-day experience, using plenty of negative space to create a natural flow and make the information easy to absorb.
