Overhaul of the DB website.

A learning initiative that fully immersed me into the realm of web design.

This work may not be that good in terms of design and fonts, but as we all know the main mission of a designer is to solve problems.

This project holds a special place for me, as it guided us through the comprehensive UX journey, including the essential research phase.

There is original DB web-page ⬇️

Hence, we initiated user testing on the initial website, executed a survey, and carried out interviews to define the user profile.

We meticulously pinpointed shortcomings in the DB web portal's interface and system.

Additionally, we mapped out a web flow and commenced crafting low, medium, and high fidelity iterations of the site.

Displayed in the screenshot below is the initial layout for seat selection in a train car.

This adjustment was necessary as numerous participants struggled to comprehend their seating arrangement in the original website version, which solely featured a dropdown list.

Following thorough research, organization, and strategic planning, I crafted a vibrant design inspired by sunset hues. This choice was influenced by recurring feedback during interviews, where participants frequently mentioned the need for a warmer and more appealing visual aesthetic to replace the previously perceived cold and unattractive design.

And here we go!
