A cross-platform mobile application for managing assets (hardware devices, accessories, furniture) on the go. This application provides a seamless extension to the existing web application, allowing users to scan barcodes and QR codes in real-time to quickly find, add, assign, and revoke assets.

What we've done?

Redesign and consolidation of two existing mobile applications for asset management into a single, cross-platform solution.

How?

• Conduction of the Discovery phase;

• Creating low-fidelity wireframes;

• Style guide, UI kit gathering;

• High-fidelity mockups creation;

• UX Review of the implementation.

By applying a thoughtful and complex approach to the design process, we achieved more than just updating the visual elements to a modern style. We also identified, prioritized, and solved the most critical user issues in their daily workflows. The full discovery phase revealed the need to redesign the app structure completely and introduce new features.

For now, we've implemented the first version of the new cross-platform app and planning to collect feedback from users through usability testing. It will allow us to prioritize backlog features that were not part of the initial release scope and confirm that the changes we made have a positive impact on the overall user experience.
