Landing Page “The Design Document”

Good design is not only how it looks. It's also how it works and how it feels. The problem it solves. The people it is made for. Your design process should start with the fundamentals and that's not colors, fonts or shapes. Since a couple of years, I prefer to start my design process with a simple text document. I build a template for myself with questions and suggestions to guide my design thinking and now you can use that template yourself! The landing page follows a simple and minimalistic approach. One visual, one headline, one block of text and one call-to-action. Everything fits on a laptop screen. A design like this also forces you to trim everything down to the essentials and make it as clear as possible what the site is about.
