Iconic Theatres of Madras (Chennai), India

As a film buff, it is an understatement to say that I have always wanted to create an exclusive artwork set featuring cinemas, especially the ones that have been a part of my life since I was a school kid. It's 2023, and most of the cinemas that I grew up marveling at have undergone a major transformation as part of the upgrade process. Sadly, some of them have even closed down. I believe there is so much to appreciate about their unique architecture. These cinemas had personality compared to many of the multiplex halls - lifeless small screen boxes cremated inside malls. Therefore, I humbly present my attempt to recreate those cinemas as they are etched in my memory.
