Google Bard, as one of the rivals to Anthropic's Claude AI and OpenAI's ChatGPT, has been criticized a lot on its literary capabilities, poor interaction design, and overall performance as an LLM-based chatbot. However, because of its seamless integration to Google ecosystem, there are some huge UX opportunities that have not been defined and thought about yet. I want to use this passion project to just explore how an AI chatbot should feel as a Google product, other than a dull alternative to Google Assistant. I will not try to make some "figured-out" ux paradigms here, but I hope something that's collaborative, coherent, and delightful can be found.

In this 1st version, I'm thinking of opportunities like:

• Chat hierarchy and management

• Google ecosystem integration (i.e. generate to Google Doc)

• Customization and formalization (i.e. customized search engine and result formats)

• In-line carousel for version switch (sure it will def break some ux rules but why not)

• Multi-user collaboration

I will explore each one of them with details in the future version.

Design system: Google Material 3 (as accurate as I can)
