Seekaroo — Finder & tracking shipment
Background
The delivery of goods and logistics became an important part of business and commerce activities. Various shipping companies compete to provide efficient and reliable services to customers. In that case, the development of shipping expedition apps can be a solution to help customers find the best option to deliver their goods.
About Apps
Seekaro is as a digital platform that enables users to search and select freight shipping services from various expedition companies. This application offers features such as price comparison, estimated delivery time, real-time shipment tracking and view reviews from previous customers.
Challenge
Search and selection of delivery expedition services is often complicated and time-consuming. The customer must look for information from various sources, it's like contacting some expedition companies or visiting one-on-one expedition websites to find out about the price and delivery time. This causes less efficient time and uncertainty.
Solutions
In this design exploration, the application provides features:
Easy search
Users can easily enter the delivery details, Like the location of the sender, location of the receiver and weight of the goods. The application will provide a list of expeditions service options that meet those criteria.
Price comparison
Application presents a list of shipping services and prices, so users can choose the options that most suit their budget.
Estimate of delivery time
Users can see the estimate of delivery time for each service option, Help them in planning.
Real-time tracking
Application allows users to track the shipping status in real-time.
Customer Reviews
Users can see reviews from previous customers related to certain shipping services. Helping them make informed decisions.
Results
As expected with this application, customers get easier and more efficient access in search of shipping services. They can quickly compare prices, appoint a delivery time, and track their goods more accurately. As a result, the shipping process becomes more organized, more transparent, and more reliable.
Application fundamental UI design.
Additionally, in this design exploration I have applied basic fundamental UI principles, such as consistency in typography, color, and spacing between elements. These basic principles should always be applied when designing a user interface, to ensuring that our design remains cohesive and can be easily handed off to the engineering teams.
