When it comes to creating apps, including entertainment apps, user feedback helps product owners hone their solutions and amp up the audience’s experience. It’s also a great way to motivate users to engage more with an app ☝️
📱 When creating a mobile app design for Mappn, we ensured the team stayed in touch with people’s needs. The app’s users can provide feedback on places they visited so that the app can offer venues tailored to their preferences.
📌 Fun fact: as you probably know, before diving into UI&UX design, our team runs in-depth research.
So during user interviews, we revealed that some users don't leave comments online on services or products. The reason is that they don't always remember all the details or have time for it.
It was something resembling an "aha" moment. Such findings helped us develop fun tags for people to share their experiences on the places they visited, as well as leave comments.
This design move motivates users to come back to the app, engage with it, and conveniently share their thoughts 👍
