Floating City I
Floating City I is part of the Floating City series; digital collages created with hand-drawn textures, using a range of dry media and paper types. Contrasting messy organic hand-drawn elements with the precision and accuracy of digital. The collection features fragments of suspended city’s in empty landscapes; minimal interiors, surreal staircases, windowed walls, with bold colours and geometric forms in textural childlike scribbles. Forms are stripped down to the essential and reflect the reoccurring patterns found in urban and natural environments.
