Etherton Campaign Logo
A good friend of mine was considering a run for local public office, and asked me to design his campaign materials. He is only 24, so I wanted to communicate his age in an exciting and dynamic manner, rather than an inexperienced one.
He ultimately did not pursue the office, however I wanted to finish the logo and was excited by the opportunity to do so without a strict, political personality. I thought the charcoal brush styles were a nice metaphor for an old-fashioned education and persona, while also introducing some fluidity to an otherwise brutally geometric composition.
