Threads '23: GFX

A peek into the GFX of Plaid Threads '23.

As part of our annual event, we worked with creative studios Even/Odd and Bullpen to define our motion graphics for our keynote and product announcements. See these in action here.

Our Threads line was a recurring visual element that wove the whole event together. This line helped to draw attention back to the dialogue and content.

We worked with our agency partners to establish the graphic effects for our transitions, title cards, and lower thirds. We landed on snappy yet elegant effects that matched well with our music selection.

To highlight some of our visual product narratives, we added lightweight motion to our illustrations and included an animated approach to text messages.
