Goals: The goal was to provide commemorative shirts for sale to event attendees that served as an additional brand awareness tool.
Challenges: The main bowl's visual identity involved a raster image composition that didn't fit the vendor's specifications. The design had to be simplified and adhere to the screen printing specifications.

These are the official t-shirt designs for the 2017 Gasparilla Bowl NCAA football game between the Temple Owls and the FIU Panthers at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL, and put on by ESPN. The imagery for the bowl's visual identity didn't fit the vendor's screen printing specifications, necessitating an alternate design. A typographical approach utilizing the taglines combined with a vector version of the pirate ship sails from the visual identity provides an attractive solution.
