Website design for Autotime Corporation - circa 1999-2000.

Ah, let's take a little trip down memory lane! Back in the day, around 2000, the web development scene was quite different. We had HTML 2.0 as the reigning standard, and remember how Macromedia was giving Adobe a run for its money? Those were interesting times, weren't they?

But, of course, we also had our challenges. Netscape and Internet Explorer, affectionately nicknamed 'Internet Exploder,' were the browser biggies, and they weren't always the easiest to work with. Web developers like us had to craft code tailored to each of these browsers, and it could be a real headache when errors popped up.

Thankfully, times have changed, and we can now rejoice in the beauty of industry standards. Today's web development practices have come a long way, making our lives much easier and our websites more accessible and efficient. Back then, the Autotime website was brought to life using the creative prowess of Macromedia Dreamweaver and Macromedia Fireworks for those eye-catching (in 2000) graphical elements. It's fascinating to see how much the web has evolved since then!

Looking at these memories, it's evident that web design has taken giant leaps, and we've come a long way since those days. So, let's appreciate the progress we've made and look forward to the exciting future of web development!
