I am a Special One

I recently rediscovered my love for football, and what better way to express that love than to create a poster about one of my all-time favorite managers when I was younger, Jose Mourinho. The man coached my club, Chelsea, and turned them into a winning machine. My process began with sketching out my layout and the ideas I had in my head on my sketchbook, occasionally working on it outside and out of my comfort space, as that's where I feel I'm the most productive. I had the idea of displaying the trophies he has won throughout his European campaign with different teams. The trophies themselves were modeled by myself on Blender as a lot of the assets online were not to my liking. The poker chips-like-looking stuff displayed on the two versions are just chips with the color palette of the team Mourinho has managed. Personally speaking, I could've done this better if I had more pegs to properly execute some of the ideas I had. I treated this as more of an exercise to improve my design eye, cause you can't improve if you don't have a body of work to improve from.
