Rejected Apparel Designs | Chilli Chans

Rejection is just part of the design process.

I was so keen on having this ox mascot at the forefront of the Chilli Chan brand. Since the company was founded in 2021 (aka the Chinese zodiac year of the ox), I thought it would be perfect for this fiery and tenacious animal to represent a chilli oil brand. But the founders educated me on how all their products are vegan and the cow motif might not sit well with their vegetarian & vegan customers. So it went to the pile of rejected designs.
