Breathing Life into Youth Alive: A Design Journey
Intro: The Birth of a Vision At BearPlex, we take pride in translating our client's vision into reality. Our recent collaboration with Youth Alive proved to be an exciting expedition that honed our design skills and our ability to relate to the faith-based audience.
Section 1: Crafting the Hero Section Our design odyssey commenced with the quest for an ideal hero section that embodies Youth Alive's vibrant ethos. After several brainstorming sessions and drafts, we crafted a visually impactful hero section that not only speaks to the brand identity but also piques user curiosity.
Section 2: The Path Selection Feature The path selection section was a pivotal point in our design journey. Striving to make it intuitive yet comprehensive, we gave users the liberty to select their faith journey, whether as a Student, Leader, or a Church. This feature paved the way for an engaging and personalized user experience, a cornerstone in our design philosophy.
Section 3: Infusing Fun We infused a bit of fun in the mix! Our creative team conjured a section acknowledging the emotions associated with sharing faith – it could be Scary, Challenging, Stressful, Intimidating, or even Polarizing! This addition gave the website a distinct human touch, helping us connect with users on an emotional level.
Section 4: Video Carousel Challenge Our next challenge was to deliver a video carousel that imitated the playful vibe of TikTok. Achieving a seamless carousel while maintaining a fast loading time was a task that we thoroughly enjoyed, and the outcome, a carousel that users could hover over and play, was a hit!
Section 5: A Personalized Wizard Feature As we neared the end of our design journey, we employed a wizard feature on the path selection page. This allowed users to narrow down options in four different steps, ensuring that the results they received were tailored to their needs. We threw in a lead magnet for good measure, making sure we catered to both the user and our client's goals.
Conclusion: The Fun of Creation The journey with Youth Alive was not without its challenges. We ventured through various design variations, experimenting with different elements, and testing our creative limits. The result? A design that not only aligned with the brand identity but also left a lasting impression on the users. It was fun, it was exciting, and most importantly, it was meaningful.
At BearPlex, we believe in creating experiences that resonate with users while fulfilling the client's vision. The Youth Alive project was an opportunity that allowed us to do just that.
